Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
VAERS is a post-licensure vaccine safety surveillance system jointly administered by CDC and FDA that collects and analyzes reports of adverse events following vaccination from healthcare providers, manufacturers, and the public. The system publishes data through downloadable datasets and an online search interface integrated with CDC WONDER for detecting unusual or unexpected patterns in adverse events.
