Iganga-Mayuge Health and Demographic Surveillance Site (IMHDSS)

The IMHDSS is a population-based surveillance platform established in 2004 in Eastern Uganda, covering approximately 85,000 individuals across 65 villages in Iganga and Mayuge districts with twice-yearly data collection on vital events, migrations, sociodemographics, immunization, and health outcomes. The site serves as a research laboratory for community-oriented epidemiological and implementation science studies.
