One of Africa's oldest and longest-running demographic surveillance systems, established in 1962 in rural Senegal and monitoring approximately 43,000 residents across 30 villages through 4-monthly household surveys. Vital events, health outcomes, epidemiological data, and economic indicators have been collected continuously for over 60 years.
