North West Secure Data Environment

The North West Secure Data Environment is an NHS data platform operated through a collaboration of the Lancashire and South Cumbria, Greater Manchester, and Cheshire and Merseyside integrated care systems that provides researchers with access to de-identified health and care data. Researchers apply to use the environment, and approved, trained users analyze data within the system under review by Data Access Committees, with the NHS checking research outputs before publication.
