Human Heredity and Health in Africa (H3Africa)

H3Africa is a consortium-based initiative funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health and the Wellcome Trust that conducts genomic research on the health determinants of common diseases across multiple African populations. The initiative manages 51 active research projects generating large-scale genomic and environmental data with documented governance through a Data and Biospecimen Access Committee.
