China Health and Nutrition Survey (CHNS)

CHNS is an ongoing open cohort survey collecting household, individual, and community data on health, nutrition, and socioeconomic factors across 15 provinces and municipal cities in China, run jointly by UNC's Carolina Population Center and the National Institute for Nutrition and Health at China CDC. It is used to study how social and economic change affects health and nutritional status, and researchers can download the data after registering on the project website.
